Rugby 2009 Super League Season to Start From February

The Rhinos have been the leading champions in Rugby League and are currently considered as the World champions for Rugby. The match against the entertaining new comers, the Celtic Crusaders will surely be an exciting one, because although the Crusaders are a new team, they already have earned themselves several honours and made a few records, like being the Champions for National League Two in 2007, and 2nd position in National League One in 2008.

The next two matches of the Super League Fixtures will take place the next day on Sunday 8 February 2009, between Harlequins RL vs. Bradford Bulls and Wigan vs. Wakefield. The Harlequins Rugby League from London have been around for a few years now, but dropped out of the game due to poor finances. They are back now and will play the second match in this series. Their rivals in this match, the Bradford Bulls, have an awesome history and they have had several success stories in the Super League Era. Last year, in 2008, they scored 5th position among the rugby teams and have also won several titles. This match will bring a lot of thrill and excitement to the rugby fans as the two teams fight each other for the winning. Although the rivals look much stronger than the Harlequins, this years squad is a strong one and sure to give the Bradford Bulls a hard time.

Friday 13 February 2009 will see 4 thrilling matches between 8 rugby teams, which include Hull vs. Wigan, Leeds vs. Wakefield, Salford vs. Celtic Crusaders and St Helens vs. Warrington. Rugby fans will have a great time watching in TV all these matches on the weekend while Rugby league livescores for these matches can also be viewed online. The Wigan Warriors will definitely give a hard time to the Hull FC rugby league club as they are way ahead in their ranking as compared to Hull. The grand final winners from last year, the Leeds Rhinos will be a tough match for the Wakefield RFC rugby union club. The Salford City Rugby League Team, also known as the Red Devils will not be a competitive match for the fierce Celtic Crusaders. Similarly, the Warrignton Wolves do not look like a tough match for the grand final runner-ups from last year, the St Helens RLFC club. Stay up to date with the rugby league live results to keep track of your favourite clubs and rugby players in these exciting matches.

Some of the next matches scheduled in the Rugby Super League Season include Catalans Dragons vs. Huddersfield on Saturday, 14 February, Bradford vs. Hull KR and Castleford vs. Harlequins RL on Sunday, 15 February, Wigan vs. Castleford on Friday, 20 February, Celtic Crusaders vs. Hull on Saturday, 21 February, and several others throughout the months of February, March, April and May 2009.
