11:58am: Pavano seriously considered returning to the Yankees, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. The Yankees explored a one-year, high-salary deal with Pavano before the Twins offered a second year.
I shall correct myself. He ALMOST has a deal with the Twins, but that deal is not official, and he could still come to NY. I hope he goes back to the Twins so they can beat him in the playoffs shall they meet again.
For most Yankee fans, I’d say BAD. Not because Pavano is no good or too old, but because Yankee fans hate him. He signed a huge contract 5 or 6 years ago, and didn’t hardly pitch at all because of one injury after another. I doubt the Yanks and Brian Cashman would bring him back, even though their starting pitching is rather thin.
