Help me pick an MLB Team Part II?
OK, I’ve narrowed down my choices…
Mets- like the history of NL in New York City, good uni’s and logo, David Wright, The City That Never Sleeps, love David Wright
Reds- like the history, midwestern (I’m from Iowa), seem to be a team on the rise
Angels- Grew up as a kid in the Quad Cities when the Angels single-A club was there- good memories… no real connection over the last 20 years
Giants- used Barry Bonds and dumped him (ha!), great ballpark, great unis and logo, young team on the rise (love Pablo), great history
Rockies- the first game my wife (gf at the time) and saw was at Coors, happen to love the state for recreational opportunities…. UGLY UNIS!!!
Twins and Brewers- both the more local option, but MLBs blackout restrictions keep me from watching games on MLB.tv, and I’m not going to fork over the money for Direct TV or Dish.
There they are folks, let the votes begin!!!
Well, I’m a bit insulted that you ignored my suggestion to go with the Sox, but oh well. Of the teams you listed, I’m gonna go with the Rockies. They are kind of the underdog, but at the same time, they are a great, young team that’s almost always going to make a run for the playoffs. I like the way they play.
Also, maybe go with the Reds if you have patience and want to see a team get better over the years. I also appreciate their history.
And as you know, I would definitely suggest the Twins, but I wouldn’t want to spend the money either.
