So now the Red Sox have 2 pitchers named Ramon Ramirez?

Sox just claimed right-handed pitcher Ramon Ramirez on waivers from the Rays.

What’s funny is they already have another pitcher named Ramon Ramirez in their bullpen! What a coincidence, I found that pretty funny. When I saw the article and it said they got Ramon Ramirez, I was confused for a minute. How do you think people will refer to them separately – something like “Old” Ramirez and “New” Ramirez?

BQ: Has your team acquired any new players since the Winter Meetings began? If not, what rumors are you hearing about them?

Haha, that’s pretty funny. Will they use middle names when referring to one?? I’m looking forward to seeing how they handle that.

BQ: Yep, Curtis Granderson..I’m looking forward to seeing him in pinstripes.

EDIT: lol @ Machinehead…

Rangers: Winter Meetings
