What’s going on at The Ballpark in Arlington?
The bottom of ESPN just says they’re in rain delay or cancelled or something, but when I put on the weather channel to see my local forecast for tomorrow, I caught them saying something about evacuating the Ballpark in Arlington because of hail or a tornado or something? I can’t find much on the Rangers’ website, and ESPN and MLB Network aren’t saying anything. So is this true? Did they really evacuate the Ballpark in Arlington?
They didn’t evacuate the ballpark itself. Bands of heavy storms moved through the whole Dallas-Fort Worth area Tuesday night. Because of the threat of high winds and hail, ballpark officials decided to move all the fans into the concourse and tunnel areas until the storms passed.
