How come the next WBC isn’t until 2013?
The last one was in 2006. Then 3 years later in 2009. Now the next one is in 2013…how come it will be 4 years later instead of 3? Or am I mistaken? If it is 4 years from now..will it be every 4 years like the Olympics?
Bonus Question: Should there be a salary cap in MLB?

It was always the plan to have the second one after three years, then move to a four-year cycle. (Why, I don’t know, but that was announced prior to the 2006 tournament. Lines up non-coincident with the Olympics, perhaps.)
