Has there been a study showing the correlation between WAR or VORP and actual wins in the MLB?
I was just wondering how much these ambitious sabermetrics actually represent a winning team?
Alternatively, is there a site where you can see team totals for WAR?
I’m not familiar with WAR but actually VORP is very useful comparing the team’s strength position by position.Sorry could’nt help but of course I’ll claim 2 points.(I think pitching is underrepesented in order to make a legit connection between VORP and actual wins-Giants leads the division they are not even close to Dodgers)
