Do you think Lee Smith should get into the Hall of Fame?
Now I know that there are a lot of questions like this: “should _______ get into the HOF?” I apologize for adding to the pile. At least this one isn’t about Pete Rose!
But it struck me as odd that Lee Smith, one of the most accomplished closers in MLB history, isn’t in the Hall. He’s actually never gotten more than 45% of the vote. Other closers, like Goose Gossage and Bruce Sutter, have gotten in.

Oh, heII to the yes! He MADE closers. There is no excuse for the writers to leave him off. Damned writers.
