I think sammy just went to school through eighth grade when he dropped out. am i right? did he ever retake high school courses or college courses?
did he have an apprenticeship? (cuz i have no idea what that means!)

so far all i have for that is started working at age 14 as a shoe shiner. the rest of his life he worked as being a mlb player. today he is retired and currently unemployed.

this is hard. not a easy choice. will try to help. old guy. will never disrespect a woman. sammy contributions would be in the city of chicago. he has to be classified as a athlete/humanitarian . sammy did give up many many hours to assist the chicago special olympics. he also donated needed financial aid to this much needed great program. to the inner youth schools chicago . financed computer programs and computers. to the baseball fans of chicago. a reason to go to the ballpark. Sammy’s education is not noted but it is less than great 8 united states education. he is a self taught man. his apprenticeship which is training to advance in your chosen profession, in this case baseball. started in vancouver canada. when he was 17 years old. perfect city for him and many others to learn their trade. selling golf balls was his only job if you call it that. would go to golf course find lost balls sell them to golfers. in vancouver he attended english as a second language course. read and write english. as a second language. he is retired in name only. he will play for country if invited world baseball championship. as far as 5 historical events his lifetime. with another steroid scandal wrong person. will have to leave sports out. try these desert storm 1991, iraq, war. 9/11 devastation. lebanon bombing. first world trade CENTRE attack. air india bombing. al-quida.
