Why did the Arizona D-Backs change there colors and logos?
Was there anything wrong with the old colors and logos? Does MLB have enough “red” already?
Merchandising and graphics. The purple color was hurting their merchandise sales, and had really been added only because it was popular for the Suns and because Colangelo liked the color. The purple also didn’t work well in graphics, and would often come out looking blue or black.
