Fair or Foul?
I think it is two things; foul and brilliant.
In little league I did that, the Ump called the guy safe and yelled at me for being unsportsmanlike. However, in the pro’s outs are hard to get and getting a speedster out of scoring position with that move is genius , by one of the smartest players in baseball.
It is a cheesy move and Morgan may hate Wright forever ( he was FURIOUS) but Wright took advantage of a tough angle by the umpire (behind the bag) and pushed the foot of Nyjer Morgan’s off the bag. I think he would of stayed on, but his carrying momentum made the umpire think he passed the bag, rather then being pushed off the bag.
