Who should I draft 2nd overall MLB Fantasy?
I’m in the 3rd year of a keeper pool. 10 teams – Roto league. My Keepers are: Ryan Howard, Brandon Phillips, Ben Zobrist, Justin Upton, Jacoby Ellsbury – Roy Halladay, Zack Greinke, Max Sherzer.
I need a C, SS, 3B, OF, SP, and RP. Probably the best available players to start the draft are: Nelson Cruz, Jimmy Rollins, Hunter Pence, Andre Either, Buster Posey, Brian McCann, Derek Jeter, Chad Billingsley, Jonathan Sánchez, Madison Bumgarner, Jaime García, James Shields.
Who do you guys think I should take 2nd? As of right now I’m think I’ll take either Nelson Cruz, Jimmy Rollins, or Brian McCann. What do you think?

I know, I don’t really want to keep him. I originally was keeping Zobrist because he had a SS eligibility but that looks to be gone this season (1B,2B,OF). The only other players I could consider keeping over Zobrist are: Adam Lind, Jaime Garcia, and Madison Bumgarner. My team was pretty weak last year.
I’d target Posey first, Cruz second, McCann 3rd.
You do need a SS, I agree, but Rollins and Jeter had terrible 2011′s and shouldnt cost you a first round selection. Dont pass on a sure thing on the perception that the SS pool is shallow. By the way, why in the hell are you keeping Ben Zobrist? Is there nobody else that you could consider keeping? Post those players here, maybe we can assist you with who to keep as well.
