Mlb Gyroball
am i good enough to be in the mlb?
im 20 years old, i throw a 100 mph fastball, with a nasty gyroball and a 60 mph change, i also throw a slider that moves like crazy it looks like a fastball but then it sinks about 10 inches when it reaches the plate. in my college i have thrown 50 perfect games and im lifetime 78-0 with a 0.45 ERA.
According to some doctors, 100 MPH fastball is a threshold that cannot be done. They say the tendons in your elbow cannot withstand the force placed on them to throw the pitch. Claims of 103 MPH Zumaya and 102 Rob Nen pitches are discounted by the doctors as “home cooking” from the radar guns. Now, the Guiness Book of World Record states Nolan Ryan’s 100.9 is the record. Got a link of 1 article that talks about it.
