So that’s my top 28. It’s heavily weighted towards sluggers and starting pitchers, as I’m in the “never pay for saves” camp. The one player on this list to watch closely is Chase Utley, who would be in that elite tier if he were healthy, and could drop off this list entirely if his rehab goes slowly.
