Mlb Eliminating Divisions

September 18th, 2006

Do you think that MLB should eliminate interleague play?

This would allow each AL team to play division rivals 18 times and non divisional AL team 10. In the NL you would play division foes 18 times and non divisional games 8 or 9 times. I think this is the way to go bc you get more games against the teams that you are competing against to win the wild card. What do you think?

I agree entirely it is absurd to play games against teams that you are not competing against to make the playoffs. Further the AL kills the NL every year and you find out which league is stronger by watching the All Star Game and WS. Againg where the AL dominates. I personally would eliminate the interleague and bring the season back to 154 games. Then you could increase the divisional series to best of 7
