Is Jonathan Broxton a legit Cy Young candidate?

I was looking at the Mlb attendance records and theres this section that says Cy young predictor….. and for the NL Jonathan Broxton was number one…… so yeah is he a real cy young candidate…

Here are his stats…

W/L- 6-0

E.R.A- 1.36 and 16 saves…

So yeah is he a real cy young candidate….u know being a closer and all… oh and does he have a legitimate chance of winning it?

heres the thing I was talking about…

He is legit but he won’t win. It looks like there will be some 20 game winners in the NL this year and starting pitchers have a huge advantage in Cy Young voting. The Cy Young award was implemented by Ford Frick in 1956 and in 52 years there have only been 4 relief pitchers who have won the award in the NL. They were Bruce Sutter, Steve Bedrosian, Mark Davis, and most recently Eric Gagne. I don’t believe we will see a fifth relief pitcher win it this year.
