which is better Time Warner Cable, AT&T (U-Verse), or Direct TV? I have a 50′ RCA 1080i dlp tv?
I have TWC as of right now and the customer service sucks…..and they say that their DVR is a HD DVR and that i should be able to hook up my hdmi cable to my tv and connect it to the dvr…i did that and i still don’t see the difference…oh and how do i get my video games to look HD?? I tried to to play MLB 07: the show..and it doesn’t look clear at all…it is because PS2 doesn’t support HD???…what does DVR stand for by the way???

Easy questions first…
DVR – Digital Video Recorder
Video game in HD — You may need an adapter to get the games to show up in HD. Check Amazon to see if one is offered. If it is, and you don’t have it, then you’ll know that’s the problem.
On to the tougher question…
Ask most people and they’ll say Direct TV blows away cable in terms of picture quality.
And with the gear you have, it would be a sin to settle for anything but the best.
Direct TV is great with customer service and with really putting money back into improving what you see.
They’ve made a commitment, for example, to being the leading carrier of HD channels soon — I think it’s by the end of the year, but don’t quote me on that.
I’ve had Direct TV for two years. I’ll admit it was a bit “scary” at first to give up on cable (I mean, I grew up with cable!), but I’ve never regretted switching for a second.
