Definitely go with the White Sox.
If you take a look at their pitchers you will see that their team ERA has only been going down over the last few months.
They already have one of the best pitchers in the league, Mark Buehrle. He has a 10-3 record, and he has won 4 of his last 5 decisions, and his ERA is 3.52 and he has only given up 5 or more runs in a start ONCE.
Jose Contrerashas been amazing since his return from the DL and a brief minor league stint. He has lowered his ERA over 3.00 since his June 8th return. He has won 2 of his last 3 starts, and has 8 or more strikeouts in 3 of his last 4 starts. And in 4 of his last 5 starts he has walked one or less.
Gavin Floyd has had sort of a shaky month so far in July, but he was absolutely amazing in June in which he went 3-0 and didn’t give up more than 2 runs in any of his six starts, and gave up a total of only 6 runs. In that month he lowered his ERA from 6.12 to 4.12.
John Danks has won his last 3 decisions. He has had a quality start in 6 of his last 7 games. Although he tends to give up home runs more often than any other White Sox pitcher, he usually walks very few batters, and the HRs usually account for only a run or two.
The White Sox also have a very solid bullpen, and with Aaron Poreda starting to throw well, and the new addition of Tony Pena, the White Sox have had much late inning success.
Also, the White Sox are the front runner for AL Cy Young winner Roy Halladay, and if they get him, that would make their rotation even better, and definately one of the best in baseball.
