1) I heard there was a collision between MARLON ANDERSON AND RYAN CHURCH ON SATURDAY, but i didnt see it or see hi-lights of it. I did hear though I think that Church had a concussion. Does anyone know how serious the injuries are and would it keep them out of action for a period of time? 2) What happend to DELGADO? I heard he was sent back here to NY for an MRI but what is the injury? 3) Does anyone know what happened with outfielder from last season SHAWN GREEN? I did a search on MLB.COM and it shows the teams he played for but doesnt list any other team this yr. Did he retire? Would you rather have Church in RF or Green in R? thanks in advance for the answers, and LETS GO METSSSSSSS
1)Marlon Anderson sustained a bruised chest and walked off the field without assistance and Ryan Church has a grade 2 concussion. Ryan Church is said to not be playing until the concussion symptoms completely go away and Marlon Anderson has no timetable but is likely to return sooner.
2)Carlos Delgado went back to New York for an MRI on his hip. He injured it last year and it was giving him some discomfort. He was diagnosed with a impingement in his right hip.
3)Shawn Green retired. It was originally reported on Thursday and he confirmed it on Friday.
I would rather have Green because he has more experience and is a smarter player.
