Are the Rays too inexperienced?
They seemed to have had this series all sewn up but Boston has made a great comeback. I’m a Boston fan but also thought it was over in game 5 (glad I didn’t change the channel – what a game).
The Rays are obviously still a good team and it could go either way tomorrow. I just feel Tampa got a little too cocky. They already felt they had beat Boston as seen by the t-shirt they were selling as early as game 4 – see the link. “Celebrates the Rays defeating the Red Sox for the AL East Division Championship” But it hasn’t happened yet!!

Wow. Those shirts. Ray fans, you better knock on wood.
Last year I couldn’t believe that there were already 19-0 t shirts for the New England Patriots. I saw one boy in my high school wearing one before the Superbowl even happened. Hope no Ray fans bought those shirts, cause there is a 50% chance they will feel awfully foolish wearing them.
Anyways, yeah, the Rays are post season inexperienced. They had such a lead, 3-1… they only need to win 1 more game… they were up SEVEN runs… but the Sox put up an awful fight. The Sox have made serious comebacks in the past, they can play well when it is most important..
Tomorrow will be a great game.
