What is the name of the clothing manufacturer that made the MLB jerseys that the 1990 Cincinnati Reds wore?
I would like to find out because I’d like to purchase a personalized reproduction of the same jersey that Eric Davis wore while playing with the Cincinnati Reds during his 1990 season. I don’t know which clothing manufacturer to go to in order to make this purchase. Some companies out there such as “Majestic” and “Authentic” leave me thinking that they are not the real deal. If anyone could please find out for me I would be greatly appreciative. Also, if you find an answer to this question with the aid of a website could you please include the web address where you found your information so that I could have it as a point of reference? I would say that Russell Athletics and Majestic were the manufacturers of Authentic On-Field jerseys and apparel for Major League Baseball.
Nike only made replica jerseys for fashion and currently makes “UnderArmour” type undershirts for players. Majestic currently makes authentic game jerseys for every team.
For that time period, I would say that Russell Athletics manufactured MLB’s jerseys.
