why cant i watch the mlb network channel on comcast?
i already have the nba nhl and nfl channels so why cont i watch this one?
As of now, conflicting answers from Comcast and MLB Network. Double check w/Comcast in your area. You may have to choose whether to upgrade your cable package(more $ per month), or complain to Comcast.
Per call to Comcast rep, I will have to pay $15 extra for “Digital Classic” package, over my “Digital Starter”, to watch it
But,per MLB Network CEO Tony Pettiti, “If you have digital cable,” Petitti said, “you’re going to get the Network.” see link below at mlbnetwork.mlb.com

This looks like a possible national dispute between MLB and Comcast(who owns a % of MLB Network) on what “digital basic” means.
