Mlb Cba Agreement

June 20th, 2011

After the MLB season, hockey may be the only sport available for a year. Thoughts?

The NFL ain’t playing next year, the NBA will not reach a CBA agreement and probably won’t play either. Even MLB is working on a CBA that expires this December, and although there is a lot of progress, you have to remember the long history of work stoppages MLB has. That only leaves the NHL as major sports to watch next year.

Basketball fans, how would you handle the lockout? Would you watch college basketball (if you don’t already do so) and other college sports? Would you watch NHL hockey? Would you resort to a minor sport like MLS or lacrosse?

BQ: I have a question, would, and will, this be the first time 2 or more major sports leagues locked out or went on strike in the same year?
I’m sorry to tell you guys this but the NBA has proven to make the LEAST progress out of the 3.

Hockey isn’t my favorite sport, but I watch it, and I would start watching more. I also watch NASCAR, and I’d be watching some more of that. There’s still college basketball and football, and there will be some soccer, and you can even start watching the CFL if it comes down to it.

I’d be fine

I don’t think it has happened before, and I hope it doesn’t happen now, but even if it does, I’ll be fine.
