Mlb questions!! 10 points for best answer!!!!?
1)I know that Damon will likely leave the Yankees but do you think DAmon will come back some time like the 2011 season?
2)Also who do you think will fit in the left field spot? It’s highly unlikely that Gardner, Granderson and Swisher will be their outfielders. Expain your reasoning.
3) This question is kind of random but who do you think is the best Starting Pitcher, Relief Pitcher, Closer pitcher, setup pitcher, catcher, 1st Baseman, 2nd baseman, 3rd baseman, shortstop, left fielder, center fielder, and right fielder in MLB history. ( inclde why you picked them and NL and AL are combined in this situation)
4) Do you like the American league better or the National League and why?
1) i don’t believe that Johnny will come back to the Yankees, personally i think the Yanks need to sign him because he is a good player, yes he is a below average fielder, but offensively he’s solid.
2) A number of players have been rumored to be fits in left for the Yanks, first the player the Ya.nks have come out and said they have no interest in: Matt Holliday, Jason Bay(just signed), and Jermaine Dye. Reed Johnson is a name that has come up. The Yanks were really looking into Mark DeRosa but he signed elsewhere. I think the Yanks gave up to much in both the Granderson and Vasquez trades, I can see the trading away of Austin Jackson backfiring severly. Jackson is an amazing prospect with a cannon for an arm and pop in his bat, he would have been perfect for the void in left field for the Yanks. If the Yanks do trade away Nady as its been rumored, then Swisher will be the starting right fielder no doubt about it, and as for Gardner being their left fielder, i agree it’s pretty unlikely, but i wouldn’t be surprised if come opening day, Brett was out in left takin his warm up tosses with Granderson. I would expect another trade out of the Yanks before the offseason is over, it won’t be as big as the Vasquez or Granderson trade, but it’ll be a trade that’ll address their problem in left. Look for Nady/Gaudin/Mitre/Igawa to be parts in this trade.

4) That’s tough but Id have to say the American League simply for the reason that it’s better than the National League, also in the American League there are DH’s so the pitchers can focus purely on pitching and nothing else which puts less stress and pressure on the pitcher.
