Is it possible to boycott MLB but yet remain a fan?

I’ve been thinking about boycotting baseball (not giving them any more of money, i.e. going to games watching on tv listen on radio or visiting website) because i am really fed up with how bud selig is destroying our national pasttime (instant replay, interleague play, home field advantage for asg win, and i could on and on)…but yet I am still a fan of my favorite team. I keep track of them through yahoo sports. I would appreciate your honest opinion. Thanks.

Honestly, I always find boycotting stupid for the simple fact that nothing will change. Sure, if enough people boycott, then change could happen. But in reality, would that ever happen unless something HUGE happens? Probably not. So for me, boycotting is pointless because nothing will happen.

That being said, I think change should be looked at with an open mind. Instant replay, interleague play, and home-field advantage for the ASG really aren’t that bad. Baseball can’t stay in the past……
