Playoffs = Top 5 teams in respective leagues
The Brewers aren’t going to agree to the move. If it’s anybody it would be the Astros. Getting rid of the divisions would be such a terrible idea. If you do that, it will end up like the 70′s where you have rivalries like The Reds and The Dodgers, who are nowhere near each other. Fans aren’t going to travel for a rivalry like that and baseball would be losing money.
I hate inter league because it just means less meaningful baseball so I hope it doesn’t happen. If it does I think they’ll keep the divisions, and move the Astros who have a new owner under pressure to do what he’s asked because the other owners still have to approve his purchase of the team.
