Mlb All Star Rosters
What are your thoughts about this new rule when it comes to the All-Star game?
The rule states that any pitcher that starts on the final day before the All-Star break is ineligible for roster. What is everyone thoughts on this? Do you agree or disagree with this rule.

I am fine with it, it pretty much reflects what has been the reality for a long time anyway – and allows a player who won’t pitch to participate in the festivities without taking up a roster spot. If it was really important for someone to pitch the AS game, their team could start someone else, let them pitch to one batter then bring in the all-star in from the bullpen to circumvent the rule.
