How many airplane trips does a MLB team make in a 162 game schedule?
I hate airplanes they are scarry as i have never left the city of las vegas for any travel as i fear airplanes…
Anyways how many airplane trips does a mlb team make in a 162 game schedule?
If I had to guess, I would say about 40 per season.
81 road games, average 3 games per series, so they would have to make 27 trips to the visiting stadiums, and since they usually go on the road for a few series at a time, the next flight would be to the next stadium, and not a return trip home.
