Ugh talk about a very bitter pill to swallow for the A’s?
Another tight affair with the Rays. We had a 4-2 lead into the 8th and 2 outs, but Breslow gives up 3 runs outta no where. And the A’s lose 5-4. Ugh!
We actually got to the Cy Young candidate david Price today another quality start by our starter, today it was Brett Anderson.
We had a chance to be only 6 games back of the rangers, like the closest the A’s or the Angels have been in a long time. And also a chance to take the first three games against perhaps a top 3 team in the MLB. But now we gotta win tomorrow just to secure hte win in the series and the Orioles already did their job by taking atleast 2 of 4 from the Rangers.
Talk about a deflating series though. The A’s on the verge of maybe even sweeping the Rays and who knows coulda been 5 games back by the ned of tomorrow with a Rangers v. A’s matchup looming next weekend, but oh well.
So, uhhh, my question: Did you team suffer a sucky loss tonite as well? Or win a great game like the Rays did tonite?
Man, that one hurt. I guess we stole one from the Rays last nite though so turnabout is fair play I guess.
