Joe Mauer is on MLB the Show cover for the second straight year?

Mauer was on the cover of MLB the Show 10, rightfully so, winning the MVP. But he was named the cover man for MLB the Show 11, and even as a Twins fan I have to admit that he didn’t deserve it this year. There are plenty of other athletes fit for the cover, like Joey Votto or Roy Halladay (although Halladay is on 2k11).

Yeah, there were plenty of other athletes to fit the cover, but they didn’t go wrong with picking Mauer. He’s wonderful. I like it.
