Mlb 2k11 Game Controls
Help with MLB 2K11 Questions?
Have a decent chunk of questions about the Controls, and the exact purpose for some of the stats. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, I doubt it makes a difference, but I’m on a Xbox.
When using the classic controls instead of the Swing Stick for batting, How do you choose between Contact, power, and defensive swings? I think it has something to do with the left stick, but it doesn’t really seem to make a difference.
Is there any button that works for a speed boost?
What exactly does a higher “fielding anticipation” do, and what exactly does a higher base-running “aggression” do?
Finally, In Franchise mode, does Inside Edge help your team even when you simulate games?

Ok. You hold the right stick down and flick it up for power. Contact is just flicking it up. And defensive swing is just flicking it to the right. There is no speed boost button as far as i’m concerned. Anticipation is basically anticipating where the ball is. Higher anticipation gives you a better chance of fielding that ball and guessing exactly where it will be hit. Base running aggression is basically how fast you prepare to steal. Lower aggression means that you will take slow steps off of the bag whereas higher means you will take a few quick steps. Finally, Inside Edge does help your team when you simulate.
