How do you free salary room in MLB 11 the show?
I am in a franchise with the Indians and the offseason just started and i only had 1 million in free space
i spent it all but still have some starters that i need to resign. I am about 700k over my budget is there anyway to free about 1 or 2 million
1) trade for prospects
2) trade for certain guys. you have to look around, but there are some players that make a real small amount of money for their talent (Lester is one, he makes like $5 million for 4 years or something. the younger guys are good)
3) trade for guys who make too much money (anybody who’s making over a million and not starting should go, trade them for a good prospect)
4) If you get to the last day of the offseason, here’s a little cheat: let’s say there are five players that haven’t signed yet, and it’s the last day of the offseason. first make sure you have enough room on the roster (70 players or less) to sign them all. Then sign them to a 10 year, $30,000 a year contract with a club option. They won’t be interested in this at all, but they will sign anyway because they have no other offers.
