Does anyone know who currently holds the longest homerless streak in the MLB?
This is for all you stat geeks out there. I know Jason Kendall had a very long streak a few years ago, but I want to know who currently has gone the longest without hitting a home run.
I’m talking about current players.
Specifically, I’m looking for at-bats. Mike Timlin does not have many career at-bats, but many games.
Mike Timlin has gone 1021 games without a home run.
Could be Juan Pierre who last hit a HR on 9/18/2006 which was 197 games and 793 at bats ago.
