Little League Baseball Strategies
Best “small-ball” team in baseball?
I am a big National League guy, and very strongly believe in “small-ball”, that is, getting on base, bunting, getting runners over, and feel that a good pitching staff and a good defense will win you games.
I’m playing MLB 2k11 and usually stick with teams like San Francisco and San Diego. But I’m trying to get to know other teams as well, and want to stick with the “little-ball” strategy. Any ideas on who the best “small-ball” team in baseball is?
I’m also thinking AL teams, considering the Angels and Twins? Any other teams?
The best two teams in the American League are the Rays and Angles. I prefer the Rays and Joe Maddon’s approach to small ball. Both teams are masters at it, and lately the Angels have beaten the Rays at it, but if you get a chance to see these teams play each other I think you would enjoy it.
