Little League Baseball Stats

Baseball Scorekeeping Question?
I Coach Little League and keep I try to keep accurate stats for the boys, so I’m wondering about how I should account for a certain play.
A player hits a fly ball deep into the outfield which is not caught and scores a run, but is tagged out at third. He gets the RBI but does he get a hit? If not what?
A batter who gets a hit gets credit for the last base he reached safely., in this case second so he gets a double. Run scored, RBI. Incidentally, if being tagged out at third ended the inning the run will only count if, in the umpires judgment, it crossed the plate before the tag was applied.
