Can I make the varsity this year?
I want to play varsity baseball at high school this year so bad I can taste it. I’ve been working out hard and hitting the batting cages every day. I can throw very hard for someone my age and all my friends say I’m a great player. I actually haven’t played organized baseball since little league so I’m a little nervous about trying out. But I’ve got great skills and would be an asset to the team. I can play catcher or outfield or pitch. Also, I’m not actually in high school, I’m 44 years old and have a bit of beer belly but I think my grandkids would love to watch me play. Can I make the team?
