Roush-Fenway discuss purchasing NHIS?
NHIS sale to Roush-Fenway possible? New Hampshire International Speedway’s president, Bob Bahre, confirmed to FOX Sports today that he and Boston Red Sox owner John Henry have had discussions in the past month about the sale of the Loudon track to Henry’s Roush Fenway Racing. What will Nascar do?
Interesting, in the past team owners such as Roger Penske have made capital investments in tracks such as California. I think that this is move of an investment by the John Henry (Loudon is a New England property and it falls closer to a Fenway interest than a Roush interest) I don’t think NASCAR will have any problem with the ownership of NHIS as long as Roush-Fenway doesn’t get additional testing.
