1) New England- A really dominant offense with the consistent Tom Brady and unbeatable Wide Receiver Core mixed in with a good defense able to force mistakes and stifle offenses.
2)Indianapolis Colts- If anything positive came out of the last game it’s that they can still make a game against the Chargers with 6 Peyton Manning Interceptions. One chip shot would have made them have a great comeback.
3) Green Bay Packers- These Packers are masters at making the big play, playing amazing defense, and finding ways to win. With the running game picking up, I am really feeling a Packer win against Dallas at Texas Stadium.
4) Dallas Cowboys- Super power offense followed with a good defense makes a very difficult team to beat. The Giants found out the hard way.
5) Pittsburgh Steelers- I’m still not sold on their offense, but their defense is one of the best in the league, and are able to provide easy points for their offense. Ben is great out of the pocket, and really dangerous.
6)Clevland Browns- Their offense is great. I really like the young talent of Derik Anderson and the receiving core. If they can patch up the defense, they could be a big threat in the postseason.
7) New York Giants- I am not completely sold on them, but their record doesn’t lie. They have a good defense that applies nice pressure, and a solid offense. If Manning can get some consistency, they can make some noise in the postseason.
Jacksonville Jaguars- I really like the mobility of David Gerrard. He has shown many times over his ability to make plays on his feet. Their running game is great. It not only gets them yards, but controls the possession time in their favor. Their defense is a strong one as well.
9) Tennesee Titans- Vince Young, enough said.
10) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Their defense is really solid. Jeff Garcia does not commit many turnovers, giving their defense a chance to make the plays.
I think those are pretty decent picks so far. I kept out San Diego because I am not sold on them. Philip Rivers as proven that he is not much without Tomilson playing well. And we haven’t seen too much of that. I am also not sold on the Lions. Hard to trust that team.
