Is G. Ochoa the youngest goalie veteran?
i was watching TRI Buna Fox Sports and they where saying that Ochoa is like the only veteran thats good in the Tricolor, 1st he is young wich makes him more agile and he has had the most experience out of every portero in Mexico next to Sanchez, playing in 2 gold cups,copa america,qualifiers and and friendlies and against great clubs when he is playing with America, the most goals internationally he has gotten scored on in a match are 3 by Brazil and Honduras, so do you whant Ochoa or Michel as a starter?
Of course they are going to say he is the best in that biased show TRIbuna Fox. Do you know who the anchors are? Its Fabian Estay, a long time player for America and Antonio Carlos Santos, a former America player that is an Americanista de corazon. Ive seen that show before and they are really biased. Experience isnt everything in a player especially in a portero. You have to have the whole package, experience, skill, leadership, confidence and attitude.
Not being biased in any way, but all three porteros in the seleccion right now lack one of those five things. Michel has them all except experience with el Tri, Conejo has all those but his skill is low because of his age, and Ochoa has all those except attitude and right now is lacking confidence. So “he aint the only veteran that is good”. So give these questions a rest also, right now honestly, as much as u dont like it, all three, Ochoa, Michel, and Perez have a shot to be the starter in the WC
