F1 and endurance racing coming to FOX??
As a Time Warner(aka monopoly created out of Adelphia/Comcast) customer who refuses to pay extra just to have SpeedChannel, I am delighted that Fox Sports will air several F1 races this year, as well as some of the 24 hours of Daytona.
The ONLY way I would pay for sports on TV would be a NO-COMMERCIAL station, not to pay a premium, and sit thru a million drug commericals, and all the other garbage and delays.

True, Fox will show some Formula One races this season, however it’s just four of 17 on the schedule. Hardly something to be overly excited about and I doubt they’ll show the French and British races live.
Where I live, as of February 5, SPEED will only be available on digital service. My only option is to buy or rent a digital box and pay extra for SPEED and any other digital channel I choose.
Interestingly SPEED doesn’t tell us that the qualifying session isn’t really `live’ – there is a short tape-delay. When the ITV coverage of qualifying finishes, I switch over to SPEED, but they are usually just starting that final 15-minute session. However, SPEED does show the post-session unilateral interviews with the top three drivers.
