SPORTS CAREER ADVICE?
I’m now interested in being a sportscaster for a network such as NFL, NBA, MLB, or ESPN. I follow football, basketball and baseball very closely. I also play fantasy leagues so I’m very familiar with stats. And I watch ESPN every day. What should I do now in order to prepare myself at achieving this goal?
You might want to start by getting at least a bachelor’s degree in communications. Then, get in line as this is a very popular field to get a job in. A suggestion would be to try for an internship at a TV or radio station or possibly a newspaper as a way to get a foot in the door either during your senior year in college or right after graduation.
