My questions aren’t very original, sorry!
1. How many wins/losses did your team end up with and where did you finish in the standings?
Yankees finished 103-59 and finished in 1st place!
2. What were your top 5 favorite moments?
1.clinching the AL East
2. All of the walk off wins
3. The 6th inning of today’s game, where A-Rod hit a 3 run HR and a grand slam in the same inning and got to 100 rbis!
4. Derek Jeter’s 2,722nd hit!
5. Mariano Rivera’s 500th save
3. What was your favorite game of the season?
The one that stands out in my mind is the 15 inning scoreless game against the Red Sox. The suspense just about killed me, but I don’t regret staying up late to see how it ended!
4. What was your teams’ worst played game of the season?
The one where Nick Swisher had to pitch!
5. Best hitter this season for your team?
The whole lineup has been amazing, but if I had to pick one, it would be Mark Texiera/Alex Rodriguez/Derek Jeter
6. Best defensive player for your team?
Mark Texiera again, he’s saved so many errors!
7. Best pitcher for your team?
CC Sabathia or Andy Pettitte or Mariano Rivera
8. Who was the biggest surprise (in a good way?)
Nick Swisher, he’s been unpredictable, crazy, and is a good player, a completly different person than the Nick Swisher on the White Sox!
9. Who was the biggest surprise (in a bad way?)
Chien-Ming Wang, who ended up hurt again
10. Realistically who do you think will win the World Series (someone besides your own team)?
I would like to say the Rockies, cuz I like the underdog, but realistically I would say Dodgers.
11. Choices for AL MVP/Cy Young?
MVP–Derek Jeter (It’s really going to end up being Joe Maur, but I want Derek to win so badly!)
Cy Young–Zack Greinke, amazing pitcher on a bad luck team
12. Choices for NL MVP/Cy Young?
MVP–Albert Pujols
Cy Young–Don’t really know any NL pitchers!
13. Any players you want back or gone next season?
Back–Andy Pettitte, Johnny Damon, Hideki Matsui, and anyone else who’s contract is up! I don’t wanna see anyone go!!
14. Who does your team open up the 2010 baseball season against?
The Red Sox at Fenway Park!
15. Overall, rate your team’s season from 1-10.
8.5–We’ve been very good this year, but it was a shaky start, and since we didn’t go 162-0, we wern’t perfect!
