On a baseball season standings table what does RF, RT and PTS stand for?

I’m looking at a ranking of the teams in the leage. I figured out what GP (games played), W (win), L (loss), and T (tied) means, but I dont know what RF, RT and PTS (points?) stand for. Any ideas? I know the team with the highest number of PTS is highest ranked. How are these PTS calculated?

RF= Runs For RA= Runs against and PTS= Points earned. If you look it up on www.yahoo.com you can see the exampes, although none involve Major League Baseball
