Baseball Spring Training Tampa
Could Anyone Give Me Some Advice for Visiting a Baseball Spring Training?
This year I’d like to visit a baseball spring training for my favorite team in Tampa, FL. I’ve never done that before so I have no idea how I can prepare for the trip. For the convenience, should I drive to there instead of flying? What’s the chance to get autographs from the players? What was your experiences? Any suggestions will be very appreciated!
Depends on where you live, but i like driving to S.T. and i would say go to at least 2 games or more to get the whole experience, because they don’t play their starters in spring training much, so if you want to see your favorite player and he is a star, you will want to try to see him at least 1 day. bring seat cushions, because the S.T. stadium seats are horrible. I have been to Florida 1 time and Arizona 3 times for S.T. and I had a good time, if you get there early enough and get good seats down low close to the field you can probably get autographs, and the food is A LOT cheaper then in the MLB stadiums. and mostly everything is cheaper, so if you bring say, 200 bucks, you can get a lot more then you would be able to get at a big league park. So, take this into consideration, and have fun.
