Baseball Spring Training Jerseys
should i as a freshman play jv or varisty?
2010 modified baseball stats:.805 batting avergae ,42 stolen bases ,25 rbis ,0.50 era, no errors
But I am only 5 foot 4 and 115 lbs. I am already skipping freshman and will be starting leadoff batter and right fielder but I think that I may be able to contribute on varsity. The varsity coach has hinted to me about varsity but I dont think I would start. The team goes away to spring training for a week in Florida and they go away to all these fancy tournaments. Playing varsity as a freshman is a huge thing at my school and I would lve to be able to have the varsity jersey while the other ninth graders are on the freshman team.
Bottom line is that if your coach is hinting about you playing varsity then you need to jump on that now.
This is an excellent opportunity for you. Take advantage of it today.
Start working hard and practicing. Continue your off season workout and conditioning program so that you will have enough strength all season long.
