Baseball Spring Training City

Does this make me an idiot?
In February, Dominican baseball players came for spring training and I made friends with one. He at the same time became my best friend’s boyfriend. He was like a brother to me. The months following we ( my best friend and I) would go visit him at the hotel where he would stay. We would go out to see the city and to eat and had a great time. He really was a brother as he was a great boyfriend to her. Then he left back home to Dominican Republic by the end of August. She has been calling him there and has been putting me through but I miss him as much as she does. Am I stupid for missing him more than I thought I would?
No, you have become bonded to him. Bonding between males can be very strong at times, almost like brother-to-brother or cousin-to-cousin.

The 1964 World Series between the Yankees and Cardinals was coated in myth from the get-go. The Yankees represented the establishment: white, powerful, and seemingly invincible. The victorious Cards, on the other hand, were baseball’s rebellious future: angry and defiant, black, and challenging. Their s… |
