Baseball Game Vendors
First day of work ever on Monday and I am nervous…..how do I get over the nerves?
I am 17 years old, never worked before. I was hired at a minor league baseball stadium as a vendor. I went to an orientation and some things were explained to me (how I am paid, where to go, etc.).
However, vending is an individual thing. You are walking alone out there, no help. I get to work and they give me the stuff and tell me to sell. No on “taught” me anything.
So basically, my nerves are really bad. I don’t want to be using a bad technique or anything like that and then have them call me over to tell me the right way.
Plus, it told me that my start time is at game time. Should I get there 30-45 minutes early to get my uniform and stuff like that.
And how do I just get over the nerves?
