Baseball Game Variations
Can Yahoo! Answers block a spam question before it’s posted?
In the Baseball section, there is a group of spammers who continue to ask some variation of the question: “How can I watch MLB games live online?”
It is extremely annoying. This question appears several dozen times per day, and soon after it’s posted, five or six spammers respond with links to shady websites. I report these as Spam whenever I can, but it’s a losing battle. As soon as Yahoo! removes a question or answer and deletes the account, the spammers create more and post more spam.
Is there a way to ask Yahoo! to stop these before they start? Couldn’t Yahoo! Asnwers just block people from asking this question, which is only asked by spammers? If so, could you please tell me who to contact in order to make this happen?
I completly agree that they should… That is all they ask! It’s just dumb!!!
Also – On 2 different questions of mine you said that Dan Uggla was a free agent this offseason. He’s arbitration eligible for 1 more year before he is a free agent.
