Baseball America Origin

Why does it seem like whats blacks do becomes cool for young white children?
I was walking around on campus and I saw a group of white kids with Baseball caps turned backwards, the stickers still on them, they had the whole skater tight fitting pants thing going on but they were sagging very low and they kept using the “n” word as if it was a pronoun, did I mention that none of them were black they were all white.
this is not the only thing. Why is the word “bling” in the dictionary
and why are there white crips in my area? I thought the origin of the crips were from the black panthers. there were no white black panthers.
My question to you is why do people constantly talk about how bad the Black people in america are when it seems like they are infatuated with many aspects of their culture including the negative ones?
@qwerty
Hip hop culture is black culture, black people were the creator and still remain the main driving force behind it
many other races of poeple practice karate but it will always be part of asian culture
They say imitation is the biggest form of flattery.
I don’t mind if people are interested in the black culture enough to want to imitate it, but I do mind when other people look at those kids you stated above and think “Is that how black people act”, that really makes me mad. The other day ABA put up a question about a Japanese comedy sitcom that stereotyped Black Americans beyond comprehension, I was like WTF!
So in answer to your question, those kids do it because they think that style and swagger is “Hip” or “Cool”, at the end of the day as long as they ain’t hurting anyone I’m fine with it.
