Baseball America Express

That time of the year again, your thoughts?
For many, late October means football football football, but for others, it means the ending of the baseball season. This year it came early =(. When Boston started piling on the runs against the Rockies last night, I realized how much I love baseball and how much I ultimately miss it in the off-season.
Baseball isn’t just a game; it’s a life style. More importantly to me, baseball is MY life style. Without sports, who would cheer us on? So every year, as I watch the Phillies screw up in (usually before) the playoffs, I recognize another year in my life concluded. This year, New Year’s came on October 28th.
I write here to express how I feel about the baseball season in hopes that I’m not the only one.
Go ahead and share some thoughts on the baseball season in general, this year, or certain events that’ve made you appreciate America’s Past Time

Re to John S: Because I’m 15, I PLAY baseball atm, not coach it.
I totally agree with you!
I watch baseball season from start to finish. I watch faithfully until the Red Sox are out and after that, I watch if I don’t have anything TOO exciting going on. This year, I was SO pleasantly surprised since they went to the world series. I got really into it this year and last night after I was done screaming my head off, it hit me that its all over until next year! It made me so sad. What’s going to fill my evenings from now on? I like football, but it just doesn’t match up with baseball, in my opinion!
I guess we’ll all have to wait until next year, though.
For me, though, the baseball season ended in the best way possible because my favorite team EVER won the world series. That made me feel much better=)
